HOW TO USE ANDROID PHONE AS PC SPEAKERS

Use Android Phone As Wireless Speaker

Here, is a quick tutorial to use Android phone as PC speakers. Many a times it happens that you want to listen the sound played on your desktop which doesn’t have the speakers connected to it. Also, there are situations when your laptop inbuilt speakers stops working and you want to listen to the audio or video being played on your laptop.
For this, you now use your Android speakers as external speakers by wirelessly connecting your Android phone with your PC. For this, we will be using SoundWire app for Android. SoundWire app allows you to wirelessly connect your Android phone via PC and use Android speakers as PC speakers to play sound from PC to Android. The app works great on Android phones.

Steps To Use Android Phone As PC Speakers:

Step1: Download and install SoundWire app on your Android phone from Google Play Store.
Step2: Download and install SoundWire PC client for your Windows PC. Select the appropriate one according to the operating system you are using; Windows 7 or Windows XP.
Step3: The PC client will be downloaded in the Zip format. Unzip the PC client file using unzip software and then launch the SoundWire PC Client.
Step4: Connect your Android phone and Windows PC on a same Wi-Fi network.
Step5: Launch SoundWire app on your Android phone. You will be prompted to enter the server address.
Step6: Copy the server address from the PC client of the app and then enter it into the app on your Android phone.
Step7: Tap on the SoundWire app icon and to connect it via PC client.
Step8: The Android app will then start communicating with PC client installed and get connected.
Step9: Now, play a song in windows media player or any other media player on your Windows PC to start listening to them on your Android speakers.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 / Note 5 Edge Specs Leaked

You don’t have to be any kind of rocket scientist to know that a Galaxy Note 5 is going to follow the existing Galaxy Note 4 out of Samsung’s product catalogue, and with pretty good reason too. The Note line of smartphones – or phablet, depending on what you really want to call it – tend to be hugely popular amongst both giants and people who simply like to have plenty of screen space and don’t have to worry about such practicalities as fitting it into a pocket or, you know, not needing some sort of a pulley to pick it up. The Galaxy Note 4 is due to a refresh fairly soon, so the Galaxy Note 5 should theoretically be on the horizon.
And on the horizon it is, if you believe the current rumors coming out of SamMobile.

The interesting news here isn’t that a new Note is likely to arrive this year, but actually what it may contain. According to its sources, SamMobile is pegging the new Note 5 as having either a 2K or 4K screen and an Exynos 7422 processor. It’s apparently possible that an Exynos 7430 may make an appearance as that is said to be in testing also, though not currently the forerunner.
Even more interesting than that though is the news that Samsung may be about to offer a curved Note handset for those who want something a little bit larger than the Galaxy S6 Edge. Rather than simply bringing a curved version of the Galaxy Note 5 to market though, Samsung is believed to be about to launch a curved screened Galaxy Note 5 that doesn’t bear the Edge moniker and importantly, comes with a different sized screen and lower specifications than its flat brother. Expect a 5.5-inch or thereabouts screen and hexa-core Snapdragon 808 chip if the rumors are to be believed.

With an expected September launch time-frame, the two new phablets should be starting to leak more and more as time progresses so we’ll keep our eyes peeled. At this point it’s the curved variant that has our attention the most, but that doesn’t mean the Note 5 isn’t going to catch our eyes either.
Time shall tell just what Samsung has in mind.

New iPhone 7 concept has a home button integrated into its display

iPhone-7-concept-1
Thanks mostly to its home button, the iPhone needs a fairly large bezel around its display. But a new iPhone 7 concept gets around this by integrating the home button and Touch ID sensor into the screen itself.
While it’s hard to criticize Apple’s design choices, smaller bezels are something I would like to see from future iPhones — and iPads, for that matter. The iPhone 6 Plus is larger than rival devices with 5.5-inch displays — such as the LG G3 — simply because the bezels surrounding its screen are so big.
Thanks to the home button and Touch ID sensor, however, Apple could only make them so small. But this iPhone 7 concept created by Martin Hajek for German magazine Computer Bild imagines what the device might look like if its home button was integrated into its screen.
The device also has an illuminated Apple logo on its back, and a new rear-facing camera that boasts two sensors —  for better image quality.
It certainly looks like an attractive device, and I’m a big fan of the near edge-to-edge display. But I’m not sure I like the home button inside the display; it looks like it would become a distraction at times — especially when watching movies or TV shows on your iPhone.

Best Cydia Tweaks of the Week

It’s that time of the week again to start taking a look back at what tweaks were released this past week. So let’s take a look at 5 pretty nice, and mostly free, tweaks worth checking out.
Combination Lock – Free
combinationlock
Combination Lock gives you a different way to unlock your device. When you swipe over form the lock screen you’ll noticed a new dial that would allow you o enter your passcode in a combination lock kind of style. When you get to the next digit in your passcode, change directions to the next digit and continue to do so until your device is unlocked.
CCSwipe – Free
This is a tweak that will allow you to change what happens when you swipe up from the bottom on your screen in different locations along the bottom. So for instance if you swipe up from the bottom of the screen on the left, it would open the app switcher, the middle would open control center, and the right would either go to the home screen, or if you’re already on the home screen it would lock device.
QuartzSettings – Free

Here’s another free tweak that will change the look of your settings app. You can either use the 3 pre-installed themes that are included with the tweak or you can create your own by disabling the themes and it will automatically create a settings theme using your wallpaper background.
Aspectus – $0.99
aspectus
This is the only paid tweak in this list, but it’s well worth $0.99 if you want to make use of that empty reachability space. This will put a very nicely designed media control center right in the reachability section when activated. I think it looks great and has a nice utility.
Echo – Free
echo
Echo allows you to customize a ton of different actions to have a custom sound. So if you want to add a sound when you launch an app, get an alert, swipe up on the control center, you can. Plus much, much more. Definitely worth downloading just to check out all the sounds and actions you can assign them to.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Has A New Display Related Problem

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has been the subject of quite a few quality related controversies since the device was launched over a month back. This new flaw sees the Edge’s phenomenal 2K display being reduced to what can be best described as an 8-bit panel.
Before it begins sounding like all S6 Edge models are now doomed, it’s important to note that so far this issue seems to be an isolated one and has been reported only by SamMobile. The publishing explains that since the last two weeks, their S6 Edge has been exhibiting a weird graphical glitch where the entire screen would seem to be washed out like a watercolor painting bordering close to an 8-bit color depth. Apparently, this has happened only twice in those two weeks and the only way to get rid of the issue was to completely reboot the phone.

The site goes on to explain that when this happened, the phone itself continued to operate normally without troubling him. They suggested earlier that the issue could be a hardware one given the radical design changes Samsung has opted for in the S6 Edge, making it more prone to hardware issues. SamMobile however believes that this washed out display could be some sort of software glitch and not necessarily a hardware one since they have never really dropped their device or treated it carelessly.
Unable to trace the problem or understand what action triggers it, there’s no photo available of the effected display either, and while we would have been skeptic about this claim, SamMobile’s repute and track record has us believing the story. The team has reached out to Samsung regarding this issue, but so far no response has come through.

While users of the S6 Edge have suggested this is that auto-brightness feature kicking in and is not a bug, it has been mentioned that this is not the case here as the phone has exhibited this problem in indoor conditions as well. The more important question here is that if anyone else out there with an S6 Edge has had a similar experience or not?
