Livewire Cool Unlocking Animation to iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad (source--absinthejailbreak)

Livewire Cool Unlocking Animation to iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad - There are many Cydia tweaks in the Cydia Store which will do nothing but to add simple things such as animations, settings or features in iOS. We have found another similar tweak, this tweak is called Livewire and it will do nothing except the addition of an animation while unlocking your iDevice. So, when you will unlock your iPhone, it will animate the screen and feels like opening of an elevator.

This tweak can be best described by the video, however, it doesn’t have any settings or options to configure. It will also not add a new icon to your Homescreen. There are many other Cydia Tweak which will do the same task for you but with different animations, such as TVLocker is a Cydia tweak which will add old TV Turning ON/OFF to your Lockscreen. Unlockize is another Cydia tweak with many other options in the settings pane.
Well, there isn’t much about Livewire and you can download this Cydia tweak from the BigBoss repo for absolutely free of cost. What do you think about this Cydia Tweak? Let us know in the comments section below.

pod2g: Evad3rs not working on iOS 6.1.3 Jailbreak therefore no jailbreak for iOS 6.1.3 (source--iphonehacks)

evasi0n-icon
Apple released the iOS 6.1.3 software update on March 19th. It fixed the Lock screen bug and brought improvements to Maps app for Japanese users.
Unfortunately from a jailbreaker point of view, it also killed the evasi0n jailbreak as Apple fixed 4 security flaws used by the evad3r to develop the jailbreak.
It is currently possible to only jailbreak iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS and iPod touch 4G on iOS 6.1.3. If you accidentally upgraded to iOS 6.1.3 on the newer devices or just bought a device that comes pre-installed with iOS 6.1.3 and are hoping that evad3rs team release a jailbreak for it, then we’ve some bad news.
pod2g, a key member of the evad3rs team has just tweeted that they’re not working on a jailbreak for iOS 6.1.3. They’re waiting for Apple to release a major update.

iH8sn0w, Chpwn hit with the iMessage DOS Attack (source--absunthejailbreak)

iH8sn0w, Chpwn Hit With The iMessage DOS Attack - Apple released iMessage first time in iOS 5, it is one of the best messaging service available for any Smartphone. The best part about this service is that it embeds in to the native Messaging app on the iPhone, so users will receive/send iMessages right from the messages app. But it looks that Fruit Company isn’t checking this service for the Spamming, because many famous iOS hackers have been affected by the iMessage Denial of Service Attack. In this attack, the user receives many messages from the same contact and in the end the Message application crashes.

iH8sn0w, Chpwn Hit With The iMessage DOS Attack
This news was brought by the famous weblogTheNextWeb and the list of famous hackers affected with this hack includes iH8sn0w (Developer of Sn0wbreeze, iFaith and many other famous tools), Chpwn (Developer of Grid Lock and Zephyr) and Ryan Petrich. The responsible person for this hack was a twitter account which was also involved in many illegal tasks such as selling of Siri proxy Servers and UDIDs of devices. Here’s whatTheNextWeb posted about this news:
“The messages, likely transmitted via the OS X Messages app using a simple AppleScript, rapidly fill up the Messages app on iOS or the Mac with text, forcing a user to constantly clear both notifications and messages.
In some instances, the messages can be so large that they completely lock up the Messages app on iOS, constituting a ‘denial of service’ (DoS) attack of sorts, even though in this case they appear to be a prank. Obviously, if the messages are repeated an annoyingly large volume but don’t actually crash the app, they’re still limiting the use you’ll get out of the service. But if a string that’s complex enough to crash the app is sent through, that’s a more serious issue.”
It was supposed that the hacker was a member of the famous Anonymous Hacking group, but the Ryan Petrich, developer of many Cydia tweaks has dug deeply in this matter and found that the spam came from Support@isiri.com. Here’s what he tweeted:

Another developer has tried to contact Apple regarding this matter but hasn’t received any feedback. The hackers hope that Apple will add some new features in iMessage such as blocking a specific person or addition of Blacklist. What do you think about this attack? RecordMyScreen: Free, Open Source Screen Recorder for iOS

                                               recordmyscreen1
Watch my review of RecordMyScreen
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M1_bvkgZI-A
DisplayRecorder by Ryan Petrich for jailbroken iOS device and Reflector ($12.99) for a non-jailbroken device are the gold standard when it comes to screen recorder for iOS.
However, a new free open-source screen recording app called RecordMyScreen has recently been released on Cydia that aims to give them a run for their money.
RecordMyScreen is an open source project created by John Coates (developer of Flex,UnrestrictPremium etc.), CoolStar, ProtoSphere, Nicholas Gomolion, and Brandon Etherage.
It offers the following features:
  • Open Source
  • Supports Video Rotation
  • Support 1/2 or Full Size
  • Hardware Accelerated Direct h.264 Encoding
  • Captures OpenGL frames out of the box
  • Manage recordings in the app
  • Open Recordings in other apps / Save them to the photo library
  • Fully compatible with Retina Display (except retina iPads)
  • Can run in Safe Mode
  • Doesn’t inject code into other apps/SpringBoard
For some strange reason, I couldn’t get the recording to work on my jailbroken iPhone 5, though it worked fine on my jailbroken iPod touch 5G.
The other annoying thing that I found was the red bar with RecordMyScreen just below the status bar, which takes up previous screen real estate and makes the video unusable at least for my needs.
recordmyscreen
DisplayRecorder allows you to start or stop the screen recording using an Activator action, so I don’t need to launch the DisplayRecorder app. RecordMyScreen doesn’t give you that option currently, which means you have to edit the video to delete the portion where you tap on the record button and switch to whatever you want to record.  But it is something that can be added quickly. It also seemed quite buggy as it crashed quite a bit.
The cool thing about the tweak is that it is open source and is available on Github, which means that if you’ve a iOS Developer account then you will be able to install it without jailbreaking your device.
It also allows you to import the video recordings to your camera roll, video editing apps such iMovie or also upload them to Dropbox (the apps need to installed on your device).
Wrap up:
It is great to see someone aiming to bring us this functionality for free, but for the time being I plan to use DisplayRecorder and Reflector (it tricks the iOS device into thinking your Mac or PC is an Apple TV and allows you to AirPlay mirror your iOS device to your computer where you can record it) as RecordMyScreen still needs improvements before I can recommend it.

according to me RecordMyScreen is only good for who want to record display in safe mode or If displayrecorder is not working in your idevice
if you want to download RecordMyScreen you can download it from
