Download Android 4.4 KitKat Stock Apps For Your Device Right Here [Direct Link]

android_mobile

The LG-manufactured Nexus 5 is now available for immediate purchase and it looks exactly like the speculation had suggested. It features a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and a 1080p 4.95-inch display. And it runs Android 4.4 KitKat, which incidentally was also released alongside the new flagship Google device. The release of Android 4.4 means that developers, mobile enthusiasts and general tinkerers have had a chance to delve into the heart of the operating system in an attempt to extract as much goodness that is humanly possible.
Some people involved in the Android community may shudder at the thought of delving intothe Android code-base with the sole aim of pulling out as much reusable code as possible. For others, there is nothing more satisfying then getting stuck into something brand new, witnessing the amendments first hand and then trying to rip out as much of that new stuff as possible that can then be offered as a download to those who want to run some of the newapps and features on existing hardware that may not be supported with the Android 4.4 rollout in the coming weeks.
We’ve seen slim pickings in the past when trying to pull out a number of new apps, but this time around we’ve got a whole host of new features which you’re absolutely going to love. For starters, we have the new ‘Google Experience’ home launcher, the brand new stock email app, the brand new clock app, the new Google Calendar app, Hangouts v2.0, the new Camera and Gallery app and the keyboard app with emojis. And here comes the fun part, you can download all of these files packaged in a zip folder, which we’ve linked at the end of this post.

There are a few things which should be noted before you give it a shot, though. First of all, bear in mind that these APK files might not just work on any version of Android, and the devices they support are rather limited. Hence, be ready to face a ton of crashes and different bugs from time to time. Secondly, since these apps aren’t officially supported on older firmware, therefore we wouldn’t recommend using them for your daily tasks.

We expect to see a lot more releases of this nature as people have more time to tinker with KitKat, but for now jump right in and get your hands dirty.
Simply enable app sideloading in Android by heading over to Settings > Security and install allthe apps normally.

This App For Android Keeps Your Device Online Without Wi-Fi, 3G Or 4G LTE Connectivity

stock Android 1

We’re so heavily reliant on our smartphones nowadays when out-and-about, that when we’re stuck somewhere with limited or no connectivity, it’s almost as if the rug has been pulled from beneath us. Often, though, when in poor network coverage areas without Wi-Fi, our devices can still manage to muster an SMS message, and this is precisely how Be-Bound for Android helps you stay somewhat connected when in a low signal area. By using text messages as a way of transferring small amounts of data, you’re still able to perform menial tasks such as checking email, and if you’re heavily reliant on your handset for work, this app could help make your day run just that little bit more smoothly.
You can only check your mail, view the weather forecast and such using the Be-Bound app, but beggars certainly can’t be choosers, and if you’re stuck in a place where your Gmail app simply refuses to refresh due to the poor-to-non-existent coverage, Be-Bound could be your best bet.
The app does work when a connection is present, and with a neat little user interface, it’s certainly something you may even consult when you’re not stuck out in the wilderness. What’s more, if you happen to be on a carrier that charges ludicrous amounts for data usage and don’t want to run the risk of a sky-high bill at the end of the month, you could find that, at least for light usage, Be-Bound does the job for you.

Accessing Be-Bound’s information does cost money, though. The app uses it’s own "Be-Miles" currency, for which eighty will set you back £4.68, or $7.50 in the United States. Nevertheless, it’s a useful backup to have just in the armory just in case you find yourself stranded and in desperate need of info, and with network coverage improving and expanding all the time (albeit somewhat slowly), it shouldn’t be too long before the services of apps like Be-Bound are deemed surplus to requirements.

Online Poll Shows iPhone 5s And iPhone 5c Color Preference In Genders

We’re all waiting, no doubt in vain, for Apple to confirm just how well the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c has sold individually rather than as a pair, but we now know just which colors buyers have been favoring thanks to a poll put together by Consumer Intelligence Research Partners.
Researching which color iPhones men and women preferred to pick up, CIRP has gleaned that surprisingly the iPhone5s in Gold wasn’t as popular as many had expected following all the rumors before its announcement, though that may well be because nobody could actually buy one whether they wanted to or not. To this day, stock of the gold iPhone 5s is considerably more dry than that of gray or white.
As for how the stats break down, it seems that Space Gray was the most popular iPhone 5s color amongst men, while the other sex apparently preferred to pick up the white model. It’s a trend that has been around since Apple first started to offer the iPhone in different colors, so should probably come as no great shock to anyone.

As if trying desperately to conform to existing stereotypes, CIRP’s stats show that the iPhone5c was most popular in blue and white amongst men and pink amongst women. We wouldn’t have dared to guess that would be the case if it wasn’t for hard numbers being in front of us! It seems that yellow was the least favored across the entire color range too, which is a shame – we’d argue it’s the most striking of the lot which just goes to show that there’s no accounting for taste in this world.
iPhone 5S and 5C colors seem to confirm some traditional gender biases. In the iPhone 5C, men prefer the neutral white, and the Space Gray in the iPhone 5S. In contrast, women prefer lighter silver 5S and the brighter iPhone 5C colors. Interestingly, no one, including the women in the survey, appears to want the Yellow iPhone 5C very much.

Apple currently sells its flagship iPhone 5s in three colors: Space Gray, Silver, and Gold. The iPhone 5c is offered in five colors: Blue, White, Green, Pink and Yellow. No matter what color iPhone 5s you’re on the lookout for though, the chances are you won’t find one in stock
