FolderEnhancer: Popular Folder Tweak now available for iOS 7

iOS 7 brought a few enhancements to folders such as the ability to add unlimited number of apps etc. along with the redesigned user interface.
Apple may have borrowed some of those features from Folder Enhancer, one of our favorite jailbreak tweaks, but updated version for iOS 7 still has some tricks up its sleeve to enhance iOS folders.
FolderEnhancer (iOS 7) offers the following features:
  • It allows you to create nested folders, a folder in a folder, so you don’t have to use the workaround to create them.
  • One of the limitations of iOS 7 folders is that you can have only 9 apps (3×3) on one page. FolderEnhancer removes this limitation by allowing you to make the folders bigger by selecting a 4×4 or 5×5 layout. The 5×5 layout is currently available only for the iPad, but the developer has said that he is working to add more layout options.
  • If offers an option to close all folders when you launch an app or when you press the Home button (useful if you’re in a Nested folder).
  • It also lets you disable zooming animations and the Wallpaper zoom effect when you open or close folders.

FolderEnhancer (iOS 7) is compatible with other tweaks such as MultiIconMover+, More Icons, Barrel,InfiniFolders and Shrink. The only issue I noticed was that after adding 16 apps to a folder, the folder name is not editable. If you look at the screenshot above, you will notice that there is an issue with the alignment of the text. These are minor issues, which I expect to be fixed soon.
FolderEnhancer (iOS 7) is available in the BigBoss repo on Cydia for $0.99. If you had purchased FolderEnhancer on iOS 6 then you will be able to install it for free.
