How To Save SHSH blobs With iFaith (source--absinthejailbreak)

How To Save SHSH blobs With iFaith - iFaith is an application that you can use to save SHSH blobs for your particular iOS and phone. Saving SHSH blobs enables you to be able to restore to an earlier version of iOS. For example you want to downgrade from iOS 6.1.3 to iOS 6.1.2. This will only be possible if you have saved your SHSH blobs for iOS 6.1.2.
Consequently, the purpose of this guide is to show you how to use iFaith 1.5.6 to save SHSH blobs locally on your computer by extracting it from the device.
Difference between iFaith and TinyUmbrella
iFaith is similar to TinyUmbrella but personally, I find it to be more reliable in the sense that iFaith fetches SHSH blobs directly from the device and save it locally. Although it can also check for blobs on server and fetch but, blobs saved on Cydia servers are not always reliable and can cause problems when restoring.
Apart from saving blobs, it can also be used to make custom IPSW with blob stitching. Therefore, iFaith is the choice for SHSH blobs saving. Learn to save blobs after the jump.
